The Rapids’ 2020 season was a big year for the franchise.Celebrating their 25th season of MLS and pushing to return to the playoffs after several years, they sought to elevate their social media presences and brought in Spillt to help out.
Official social media feeds for sports teams in general, and global soccer in particular, are a well-established vernacular, but their quality varies significantly even across the best leagues. It was our pleasure to design a package for the Rapids that placed them in the top tier.
Besides visual appeal, the Rapids’ digital content and social media team needed a robust toolkit that was nimble enough to create in-game content on the fly for a variety of deliverables across multiple aspect ratios, accommodating an ever-evolving roster and, since it was 2020, scheduling changes of course.
