CARTOON NETWORK NBA ALL-STAR PACKAGING
Recently we completed a toolkit for Cartoon Network’s new series of NBA All-Star Promos entitled “Skill Set”. Geared for a younger generation of viewers, each spot features player’s highlights, tips for the viewers and statistics of each player.

The purpose was to create an integrated toolkit for multiple version and spots featuring different players with different advice for the youth. Playing with bright color pallets and abstract textural elements, Spillt’s designers created a feel which defined this fast paced world. Off-set perspective 3-D elements were used to capture this world. Later in the process, an amazing character built entirely out of basketballs was used as the driving force behind the logo build elements. For Spillt, this process was a progressive growth of testing new ideas and techniques to define this world. The toolkit entailed a close, open, transitional elements, lower thirds and textural elements within the piece to bring as much energy as possible to the edits.
